Is there a certain sense for excitement, for something new and better only at Apple? Add Google to the list of iPhone imitators: If you don’t like the arrogance of Apple, but are jealous of all those flaunting their iPhones, the Nexus One from Google is probably the best you can do. That is, of course, if you don’t depend on texting and if you don’t like Blackberrys.

Sue Sanders over at Your Tango has posted an interesting story about a dating experience as a single mom, an experience that addresses so many concerns and worries you may have as well. When is the right time to introduce your children to a date or boyfriend/girlfriend? In Sue’s case, life is much less complicated than she anticipated.

Sue describes how she believed she had agreed way too early to introduce her date to her young daughter, just after three dates. She was worried that she was about to make a mistake, but the situation turned out to be everything what anyone of us could wish for.

He asked me if I wasn’t afraid that I would have an experience that would be similar to the one with you and if I knew how she was different to you. It was an obvious question, but a question I was not prepared for.

The question came because I had met this new woman in a similar way I had met you and the conversation with that woman evolved similarly fast as the conversation between you and me 13 years ago.

For Tiger Woods, more time with his wife Elin could come with a steep price tag as there are now reports that the golfer has sent a generous Christmas present and Elin is now considering to work things out.

News of the World reports that Elin has told friends that Tiger has given her $300 million and rumors are flying whether that was actually the case and if so, what this could mean. The speculation is that Tiger simply had to pay because of a prenup or that it is simply the cost of a prolonged marriage to Elin.

And according to Bill Mitchell it seems that opportunity is the key catalyst for infidelity and extramarital affairs that may ultimately turn married parents into single parents. The Oklahoma Supreme Court disqualified a district judge as it believed that he misinterpreted grandparent visitation laws. Judge Charles Gray apparently used “an expansive interpretation of grandparent visitation laws to give the paternal grandparents of a 4-year-old boy physical custody of the child five days a week while limiting the mother to two days.”

Rosie O’Donnell is in a new relationship, according to People. The former talkshow host is dating Tracy Kachtick-Anders, which she apparently met through her blog. Kachtick-Anders has six children, O’Donnell’s has four children.

Following an arrest for domestic violence against his wife Brooke Mueller on December 25, Charlie Sheen could be facing yet another divorce. The 44-year old actor and father of five was charged with second-degree assault and menacing, both felonies, along with criminal mischief, a misdemeanor. A protective order has been put in place against him, but Mueller’s attorney has now filed for an adjusted order so that she is able to see Sheen and repair their marriage.

The rumors started flying when Google began inviting journalists to a mysterious press conference shortly before the opening of the Consumer Electronics Show, the annual Disneyland gadget spectacle for geeks in Las Vegas.

A German security expert announced that the encryption technology protecting certain cell phone calls from interception has been cracked. The tools necessary to intercept cell phone calls are available free of charge on the Internet and information detailing the vulnerability of cell phone voice call and data (such as text messages) encryption has been released.

The newly raised concern affects only GSM networks, which are used by about 4 billion cell phone users around the globe and by AT&T and T-Mobile in the U.S. There were previous reports indicating that GSM might be insecure, but no one was able to show evidence for that claim until now.

Levi Johnston has scored a small legal victory again Bristol Palin. A judge sided with him and has opened the custody case to the public. He apparently agreed that Sarah Palin may be a threat to the case and denied Palin’s claim that a sealed case would be in their son’s best interest. A judge also denied Bristol Palin’s request to run the case using the pseudonyms Jane and John Doe.
