Michael Lohan Gets Desperate, Publishes Lindsay Meltdown
As a single parent, one of your important life lessons is to learn to leave your selfish behavior behind and check your actions against your child’s needs. If common sense suggests that your intentions may have a negative effect on your child then it is reasonable to expect that you simply drop your plans. With that in mind, if you were Michael Lohan, would you have released an audio recording of a meltdown of your daughter to the public?
It is exactly what Michael Lohan has done. He announced that he might release such a recording in order to support his previous statements that his daughter is in need of psychiatric help and should check into rehab. We aren’t so sure if Lindsay is the only one who needs some time out in rehab.
Single wannabe celebrity dad Michael Lohan apparently gave the tapes to Radar Online, which, of course, subsequently released them to the public. We are so happy for Michael that he was able to prove his point in exchange for one more chapter of public humiliation that surely will not help his daughter to turn to a path of recovery. Impressive, Michael, we got it: Your daughter is a mess. Who would have thought that?
Seriously, we are still scratching our heads over dad’s motivation that simply does not fit the portrayed image of the concerned father. Maybe he could appear one more time on the Maury show to give us a hint, supported by the wisdom of the show’s host?
Just being curious: Could it be that Michael Lohan is simply desperate for attention? We also wonder if there is a rehab center out there that would give the Lohan’s a buy 1, get 1 free deal?
Lindsay almost immediately reacted to the publication of the tapes and ridiculed her father through a few Twitter posts. “My fathers such a loser & those recordings are from years ago. To release personal things is foul enough, but to edit them. I used to think That he needed the book for dummies on learning how to be a father. Haha-he’s needs the book for dummies on HOW TO BE A MAN.”
If you need advice on how not to interact with your child during and after divorce, simply follow Michael Lohan. There’s no better example.
Lindsay’s lawyer is also preparing legal steps against Michael Lohan. According to Radar Online, Lindsay is “exploring all options both civilly, and criminally. We are talking to legal authorities in New York and Los Angeles to determine if any laws were broken [when the private conversations were released].”
