Levi Johnston, father of Sarah Palin’s grandson Tripp, is reportedly pursuing a joint custody agreement. Johnston claims that the Palin family is making it difficult to see his 10 month-old son.

Johnston made the announcement during a conversation with The Insider. The 19-year old was seen yesterday with Jon Gosselin in New York City, where the two are set to appear on a “panel” for The Insider.

“At the end of the month I’m going to file for joint custody of Tripp,” Johnston said. “It’s not working. I’m done. It’s going to have to go to court. They just finally pushed me over the edge.” He said that he unsuccessfully tried to see his son over the past weekend.

While there seems to be at least reason to believe that there could be alienation issues, it is clear that the Palins will not just roll over.
