Jon Gosselin Suffers From Cellphone Addiction
What a dramatic headline that is. Don’t we all suffer at least a little bit from cellphone addiction? Well, celebrity divorcing single dad Jon Gosselin is somewhat different as his life is caught on camera and especially his not so great decisions are amplified by national finger pointing enabled by Jon & Kate Plus 8. But even then it is common sense to understand that texting has taken over too much of our lives and it isn’t as important as paying attention to your children.
The latest episode, the next to last in the series, showed a Jon Gosselin who is pretty much addicted to his cellphone and prefers spending time texting rather than seeing what his children need. On one occasion, we watch Jon ignoring one of his daughters. When Kate asks her “Did daddy play with you?,” she responds with “no.” Kate then asks her what he was doing and she replies, “He was on the phone.”
Kate states that she misses the Jon who was “rolling around the floor” and “entertaining the kids” while she was making dinner.
Jon is also shown engaging with reporters rather than spending time with his children. This one may not work so much in the favor of Jon in front of court.
