Today: The End Of Jon and Kate
The final episode of Jon & Kate Plus 8 will air tonight on TLC at 9pm EDT. Ironically, the end of the show is also, as it seems, close to the end of the couple’s marriage as the divorce could be finalized by the end of year, Jon Gosselin’s attorney said.
Sometimes, life takes unexpected turns. If you will be watching Kate tonight taking her children to a dairy farm and Jon taking them to a firehouse, you are not only seeing the final episode of Jon & Kate on TV. It may also, symbolically, conclude their marriage. Well, sort of.
Jon and Kate hat another arbitration appointment on Saturday. Jon showed up with a bouquet of red roses for Kate, apparently as a sign for peace. Kate left the building without the flowers, but the arbitration may have been rather successful. The arbitrator is expected to rule in about a month. Jon’s attorney Mark Heller said that “it’s possible” that the divorce could be finalized by the end of the year.
“It was a positive move in the right direction for us to bring them together to the mediation table,” Heller told People. “Obviously before two warring parties can smoke the peace pipe, they have to sit down at a table and address the issues that brought them to the skirmish.”
Talk about a happy ending of a War of the Roses. Almost.
