For Tiger Woods, more time with his wife Elin could come with a steep price tag as there are now reports that the golfer has sent a generous Christmas present and Elin is now considering to work things out.
News of the World reports that Elin has told friends that Tiger has given her $300 million and rumors are flying whether that was actually the case and if so, what this could mean. The speculation is that Tiger simply had to pay because of a prenup or that it is simply the cost of a prolonged marriage to Elin.
Elin apparently received the funds over Christmas, while she was with her kids in Europe, while Tiger stayed in the U.S. He and his family reportedly had to mail presents to the children.
There are conflicting reports whether Elin will divorce tiger or not. Several sources said that Elin was “laughing” about Tiger’s $300 million gift and that she will follow through with a divorce. However, MSNBC reported that the couple might be trying to keep the marriage alive: “Tiger and Elin still love each other,” according to a person close to the couple. “Although there is talk of divorce, and anyone can see there is a lot of work to do, they would both like to work this out.”
Your guess is as good as ours what will be happening. However, we would give if Elin props if she is in fact trying to find her way back to Tiger. Whether she will ever be able to trust him again, is a different question, of course.
