Ellen’s Tip of the Day: Balance Your Self-Esteem

Today we celebrate the return of another fall season we mark the annual Autumnal Equinox, traditionally a time to offer gratitude and joy as the ’second harvest’ begins. This day kicks off a period that should see personal introspection and reflection as the light begins to fade and it gets darker earlier.
Like the rest of nature, we should rest and refresh both soul and spirit so that we might gather strength to sail smoothly until the light returns to illuminate our paths once again. As we gather energies, let’s apply them internally to bring our bodies and souls to a place of peace and contentment. Many schools of Feng Shui maintain that you can increase your own personal power by enhancing the center of your living space.
The center of your main floor or bedroom is a critical location to assess and adjust when looking to support your inner personal, emotional, physical and mental strength. This can also be a place to adjust when looking to balance self-esteem and self worth issues. Hang a metal wind chime or a rounded and faceted crystal somewhere inside the center, remembering to use a red ribbon cut to nine inches or some multiple of that number.
