Jon Gosselin: Ok, so I took $155,000. So what?

ould someone please step up to the plate and coach Jon Gosselin what to say in front of journalists and what not? One day after the reality show figure was ordered to return $180,000 into a joint checking account, Jon suddenly remembered that he in fact did take $155,000 when he clearly was not supposed to and common sense should have told him to stay away from the cookie jar.
And what would be a Gosselin interview be without another shot at the other spouse? Of course, Jon claims that Kate also withdrew money that has yet to be accounted for.
Those $155,000 are far less than the $230,000 Kate has claimed are gone. And we are wondering what happened to those $25,000 that make up the difference to $180,000 and the $75,000 gap to those $230,000? Ok, we know that you don’t care and we really don’t care either. But you gotta love the Gosselin’s problems.
In an interview with ET, Jon also seemed not to feel bad that he has taken the money out of the account. “It was just after arbitration and we weren’t supposed to take money out of the restrictive account and we both did,” he told ET. “I was found in contempt for doing so. I didn’t realize, I thought I was just taking my paycheck out.”
Jon, we have to tell you that divorce is a really bad time for thinking. Just do what you are told to do and you will be fine. If you didn’t know that you were not supposed to touch that account while you are flying blindfolded through this mess, then you may have just hurt your credibility a bit. Especially if you are talking to journalists about those decisions.
Jon still claims that Kate has taken some $55,000 from that account as well: “It’s unaccounted for,” he told ET. “So by Friday, we’ll know her complete accounting, which might reduce my accounting, so I don’t know what’s going on. I’m gonna be truthful and abide by the court and I’ll put it back. And she has to do the same.”
In unrelated news, former supermodel Christie Brinkley has settled yet another matter in her divorce against Peter Cook, her fourth husband. Brinkley and Cook said that the agreement will solve all remaining issues, all of which relate to child custody.
