Dina Lohan lashes out at Lindsay’s dad
We did not have to wait for this one too long. Dina Lohan, mother of Lindsay Lohan, has some advice for her ex-spouse Michael. Taking your private matters private isn’t such a great idea. Michael’s appearance on the Maury show was also an invitation for Dina to mention that he is six months behind paying child support and that he isn’t quite the dad he is supposed to be. Michael, you asked for this one.
People magazine chased down Dina Lohan on Saturday to see what she had to say about the “outreach” Michael had made on the Maury show one day earlier. It is almost impossible to take celebrity single dad Michael Lohan serious after his talk show performance, but Dina wasn’t laughing. Are we surprised?
No, of course not. Dina took advantage of the opportunity to lash out at Michael. “Michael Lohan needs to focus on being a parent, paying child support, of which he is six months behind, and making up for all the years he was an absentee dad,” Dina told People. “And stop going on national television talking about his children publicly.” Hint to Michael: She has a point.
We all know that such bickering rarely is focused on the child and Michael’s shot back and Dina is, in that view, no surprise. He told People: “She says I’m not focusing on being a good parent, but is she focusing on being a good parent?” He also noted that he will seek conservatorship. Lindsay however, may be seeking a restraining order against her father, People reports.
Seriously, both Michael and Dina need to stay out of the media. Period. What is so difficult to understand here?
