Yesterday, some notes from celebrity single dad Michael Lohan appeared on Twitter, apparently in response to reports that he is $15,000 behind in child support, which could be interpreted as suicide tweets. Lohan was in the spotlight once again, but now that those tweets are fake. Even ex-wife Dina bought the tweets, but asked Michael to drop by with a child support check before a jump from a bridge.

It isn’t quite the happy ending some would have wanted to see, but it isn’t the disaster most of us would have expected. Jon & Kate Plus 8 concluded yesterday on an emotional note, setting the stage for what may be peaceful dissolution of the Gosselin’s marriage.

The final episode of Jon & Kate Plus 8 will air tonight on TLC at 9pm EDT. Ironically, the end of the show is also, as it seems, close to the end of the couple’s marriage as the divorce could be finalized by the end of year, Jon Gosselin’s attorney said.

Sometimes, life takes unexpected turns. If you will be watching Kate tonight taking her children to a dairy farm and Jon taking them to a firehouse, you are not only seeing the final episode of Jon & Kate on TV. It may also, symbolically, conclude their marriage. Well, sort of.

James Caan has filed for divorce from his wife of 14 years, Linda Stokes. Caan had filed for divorce from Stokes back in 2005, but later announced that the couple had reconciled.

And who would be surprised to hear that the Palins were not too excited to hear that daughter Bristol, then a high school senior, was pregnant during the campaign.

How could we let you go in your weekend without a Gosselin fix? In court papers unearthed today, celebrity single dad Jon Gosselin claims that it is simply impossible to find a job because of his out-of-control media exposure.

Almost there: Angelina Jolie is reportedly planning to adopt again and almost has a junior soccer team assembled. However, it seems that Brangelina isn’t quite in an agreement, as Brad is said to be struggling with six kids already. The solution: Angelina takes matters in her own hands and adopts alone.

Apparently, a spokesperson for the Immigration and Naturalization Service in Washington D.C. told Ok! That “only (Angelina’s) name was on the (adoption) papers.”

Don’t you just love these stories? Via an appearance on Oprah, Sarah Palin told Levi Johnston that he is welcome at the Palin’s Thanksgiving table. We will file this story in the Yeah, Right department.

So we know that Levi Johnston and Bristol Palin were not married and the former couple will not have to deal with at least some of the difficulties a divorce with children brings along. One of those difficulties for single parents, especially new single parents is how to deal with holidays that are spent without your child.

Singer Toni Braxton has separated from husband Keri Lewis, according to a post at Essence.com. There is no official comment or confirmation, but several media outlet speculated that Braxton’s intense on-stage kiss with Trey Songz may have been the reason for the separation. Braxton and Lewis have two children.
