For Tiger Woods, more time with his wife Elin could come with a steep price tag as there are now reports that the golfer has sent a generous Christmas present and Elin is now considering to work things out.

News of the World reports that Elin has told friends that Tiger has given her $300 million and rumors are flying whether that was actually the case and if so, what this could mean. The speculation is that Tiger simply had to pay because of a prenup or that it is simply the cost of a prolonged marriage to Elin.

Rosie O’Donnell is in a new relationship, according to People. The former talkshow host is dating Tracy Kachtick-Anders, which she apparently met through her blog. Kachtick-Anders has six children, O’Donnell’s has four children.

Following an arrest for domestic violence against his wife Brooke Mueller on December 25, Charlie Sheen could be facing yet another divorce. The 44-year old actor and father of five was charged with second-degree assault and menacing, both felonies, along with criminal mischief, a misdemeanor. A protective order has been put in place against him, but Mueller’s attorney has now filed for an adjusted order so that she is able to see Sheen and repair their marriage.

Levi Johnston has scored a small legal victory again Bristol Palin. A judge sided with him and has opened the custody case to the public. He apparently agreed that Sarah Palin may be a threat to the case and denied Palin’s claim that a sealed case would be in their son’s best interest. A judge also denied Bristol Palin’s request to run the case using the pseudonyms Jane and John Doe.

There are just a few days left to ring in a new decade, so it is somewhat obvious that you will read a lot about top 10 decade lists over the next few days. And yes, there is also a top 10 Parents list – the St. Louis Today website was first to come out with such a list. Limiting an entire decade to just ten (types) of parents might be a bit difficult, so take this list with a grain of salt.

It is official: Jon and Kate Gosselin are officially divorced. A Pennyslvania judge issued a final decree of divorce this morning.

Ending the drama of the past weeks, the Gosselin’s are now single parents and can go separate ways.

Last weekend, we heard rumors that Tiger Woods and Elin Nordegren may be splitting and now we are seeing plenty of buzz that this rumor in fact may be true. And Woods’ efforts to repair what has been damaged may have failed already. Apparently, his wife and Elin and his kids will spend Christmas in Sweden, while Woods will stay in Florida, hoping for things to calm down.

Yesterday, some notes from celebrity single dad Michael Lohan appeared on Twitter, apparently in response to reports that he is $15,000 behind in child support, which could be interpreted as suicide tweets. Lohan was in the spotlight once again, but now that those tweets are fake. Even ex-wife Dina bought the tweets, but asked Michael to drop by with a child support check before a jump from a bridge.

It isn’t quite the happy ending some would have wanted to see, but it isn’t the disaster most of us would have expected. Jon & Kate Plus 8 concluded yesterday on an emotional note, setting the stage for what may be peaceful dissolution of the Gosselin’s marriage.

The final episode of Jon & Kate Plus 8 will air tonight on TLC at 9pm EDT. Ironically, the end of the show is also, as it seems, close to the end of the couple’s marriage as the divorce could be finalized by the end of year, Jon Gosselin’s attorney said.

Sometimes, life takes unexpected turns. If you will be watching Kate tonight taking her children to a dairy farm and Jon taking them to a firehouse, you are not only seeing the final episode of Jon & Kate on TV. It may also, symbolically, conclude their marriage. Well, sort of.
